After How To Travel In Style Without Spending a Fortune, and Stretches For Jazz Dancers, Jazz Dance Moves, and Foods That Are Good, I wanted to share today my personal favorite three books of the moment for grown-ups.
This book helps you deal with change so that you can enjoy less stress and more success in your work and your life. The lessons are not groundbreaking, they are rather good reminders. Between having Bring My Song To Life being named #1 in TheWebAppMarket's "10 Cool & Interesting Websites You Won't Believe Exist In 2022", traveling and acclimating, celebrating the 35,000 tracks produced by the Grammy awarded or just skilled musicians at Tunedly, giving interviews such as this one, I had to deal with a lot. And even though I don't regret anything because everything brought me to where I am today, I secretly wish I had this book before! "El Alquimista: Una fabula para seguir tus suenos" almost made the cut. Grab it if you want to live a life where you will never feel like you are missing out. It can be read by non-religious and religious people. However, I may have been more excited about the fact this version is Spanish (my English and French comprehension are the strongest in comparison to my Spanish capabilities). Besides, the book "Who Moved My Cheese?" can be read by adults and by kids. Therefore, I am glad I settled on the latter.
Traveling makes me feel good and contributes to keeping me at peace. My daydreams consist of the sound of ocean waves, beautiful landscapes, nonalcoholic cocktails, plenty of sunshine, bright colors, a zest for philosophy, baguettes, and croissants, a ton of romance, dynamic music, gentle pranks, smooth horseback riding, sweetness, and appreciation…and California at the moment. I started picking into this book a while ago and I am only now ready to let it go. The me of 6 years ago wouldn't believe this is my life now with discovering amazing places! And I'll bet - if you put in the work, 6 years later, you'll be amazed by what you can achieve as well, especially with the power of social media. Why 6? Because it was a trend on Instagram earlier this year. On the last note, I am not interested in everything the authors suggest (for example, I am not interested in camping so I will skip this part).
In his best-selling book "START WITH WHY", Simon Sinek helps people become more inspired. I find the content valuable, as I have been developing over the years an intentional focus on my actions, thoughts, and feelings. Cherishing the relationship with my husband and those I love, improving my work-life balance, nurturing interests and studying, making good money, freeing my home from clutter and welcoming newer ways, savoring yummy food, enjoying healthy exercise, maintaining privacy, spending time in nature with my family and friends, living a happier and fulfilling life. What I often say is a bit repetitive because this is who I am. Now it's time to let my amazing crew (re)take over the blog and spread their magic by providing content of value!
